Veedol Distributor in Guatemala helps Government deal with Covid-19

With the current pandemic that has impacted countries around the globe, each of us is asked to do what we can to help get through this.  The Veedol distributor in Guatemala went the extra mile to help their country.  Codaca along with Sika Motors saw an opportunity to help their government fight the spread of Covid-19 in their country and were happy to do more than what they were being asked.  Codaca and Sika Motors donated 4 fully equipped ambulances, 15 motorcycles and 2 support trucks to help their government’s efforts in fighting this pandemic.

In addition to the vehicles, Codaca also donated 1,000,000 Quetzals (Local Guatemalan currency) to help fight the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

In these unprecedented times, we all have to do what we can to ensure we minimize the spread of Covid-19 as much as possible.  With great Veedol distributors like Codaca who do more for their community than what they are just asked, we can all feel that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and with all of us working together we will come out of this stronger.  Let’s all do what we can to help each other get through this.

COVID-19 STATEMENT

As with most of you, we are following what is happening involving the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking the necessary steps to do our part to minimize its effects on our staff and families.  ASA’s top priority is the health and safety of our staff and Business Partners as well as the communities we live in and supply.  We are following the recommendations of the WHO as well as Local and Federal governments with regards to minimizing the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Automobile Solutions Americas currently has no one within our company that is suspected or confirmed of having the COVID-19 virus.  We have taken steps to protect our employees and our level of service to our Business Partners.  Our supply chain is still fully operational and we do not anticipate any disruptions or delays in the foreseeable future.

There could be some changes within our organization to meet the recommendations of the WHO and the Local and Federal governments to help reduce the spread of the virus which are listed below:

  • All non-essential business travel for ASA Employees has been suspended temporarily.
  • Our local office is closed to all persons who are not employed by ASA. No outside visitors or meetings will be held at our offices.
  • We have implemented a work from home procedure with our employees. They will all be accessible as usual during regular business hours, but will not be in the office.
  • We have suspended all face to face meetings and will be conducting meetings via telephone or video conferencing.
  • We will continue to process orders and maintain deliveries in our usual manner while working from home.

ASA is committed to delivering a high level of service and top quality products to our Business Partners.  With the ever changing conditions we are all currently facing, we will do all we can to ensure the safety of our Employees and Business Partners while continuing to serve our markets.  We will continue to monitor this situation and will provide you with updates should things change.

Veedol opens office in Dubai

Automotive lubricant maker Veedol has opened an international office in Dubai and also signed a deal with Galadari Automobiles as preferred partner and official distributor in the UAE.

Rajendra Ghosal, Director, Veedol International, said the company aims to control two per cent market share in the first year of operation in 2013. Veedol is returning to the UAE and other Gulf markets after a gap of few years.

Ghosal said: “Veedol always kept pace with advancement in engine design and lubrication technology. Our focus on research and development has helped us to formulate a range of products for a wide range of applications”.
